Recently, we had the opportunity to meet with department heads at US Quadball to discuss our app and its potential impact on the sport. We were thrilled to hear that they really liked what we've built so far and see the potential of our app to streamline communication and data management for Quadball events.

During the meeting, we also received valuable feedback on some of the most important features that US Quadball would like to see before adopting our app. One of the key features they highlighted was the ability to easily create tournament brackets from a mobile phone. We appreciate their feedback and are working to incorporate this feature into the app.

As we continue to develop the app, we have also started to discover some of the limitations of Glide, the platform we initially used to build the app. While we were happy with the features that Glide provided, we discovered that it may be cost-prohibitive to scale the app using Glide as a back-end. This is because Glide charges based on the number of users and records in the app, which can become expensive as the user base grows. We decided to explore other platforms that could provide a more scalable solution. To ensure the app can handle a large user base without incurring high costs, we have made the decision to move the app to Bubble.

Bubble is a more powerful platform that can accommodate a lot more users without increasing in price. However, it also has a more challenging learning curve compared to Glide. We believe that the benefits of using Bubble will outweigh the learning curve, and we are confident that we can successfully rebuild the app using this platform.

As a result, we have recently started rebuilding the app in Bubble. While it will take some time to complete the transition, we are excited about the possibilities that Bubble offers and are looking forward to building an app that will provide Quadball fans and participants with the best possible experience.

In summary, we are grateful for the opportunity to meet with US Quadball and receive feedback on our app. We are committed to incorporating their suggestions into the app and ensuring that it meets the needs of Quadball events. Additionally, we believe that moving the app to Bubble will provide a more scalable solution for the future. I’m excited about this new chapter and look forward to sharing more updates soon.
